Symptom/Sign of Problem
Flash Player not working after uninstall/reinstall

Fix Steps:

Method 1: Delete registry key containing kill bit
Open up an elevated command prompt and enter this command:

a. reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000}" /F

b. reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000}" /F

Try http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Method 2: Remove application folders

1. Use Flash player uninstall tool to remove flash player

2. Navigate to and remove these folders if they exist:
XP: %userprofile%\Local Settings\Adobe\Flash
XP: %userprofile%\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player
Vista: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player
7: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player


3. Reinstall Flash Player
