Symptom/Sign of Problem
Any network adapter is pulling a 169.254.x.x IP address
Fix Steps:
Step 1: Commands All the following commands need to be run in order from an elevated command prompt. 1. netsh i i r r
2. netsh winsock reset
3. ipconfig /registerdns
4. ipconfig /flushdns
5. ipconfig /release
6. ipconfig /renew
Note: Reboot only after all commands have been run. Do not reboot in between commands.
