Laptop taking too much time to
shutdown?
We have observed that some of the laptops takes
more the 5 minutes to close all the applications and shutdown, to reduce this
process time follow below instructions
Click on Start button select run and
type regedit
Expand : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
Edit the value data of wait to kill service timeout to 1500
This will improve the performance of shutdown
