Screen flickering in Power point 2010 presentations
Recently, we have received many complaints regarding screen flickering in Power point presentations. This is due to handshake problem between the laptop Video Hardware Drivers and Windows OS display drivers.
Display Hardware acceleration feature can improve the performance of Animations and videos in a Power point presentation. However we have done many testing to keep this feature intact, including driver upgradation and other procedure requested by vendors, but still we have seen screen flickering happens in some PowerPoint presentations. We are also checking with Microsoft on this issue.
Till we get a resolution, and also to avoid any sorry situation in front of customers during presentation, Please follow this steps to disable the Display hardware acceleration in PowerPoint.
Open Power point-àgo to Options-àSelect Advanced-àin the Display section--- Select to disable “hardware graphics acceleration” as showed below
